Hi Moms and Dad! Coming to disney 8/18-8/25 staying at POFQ and using the military ticket and room discount. Someone told me that when you stay at the POFQ, you have to do all your check in at the Riverside. Is this true? Thanks Lynn

Hi, Lynn!   Port Orleans French Quarter and Port Orleans Riverside are located next to each other.  It is a lovely walk between the 2 resorts.  Both are equally charming!

Each does have its own check-in area, food court, and pools.  So while you may end up visiting Riverside sometime during your vacation, you will need to check-in at Port Orleans French Quarter.

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is sailing with Disney Cruise Line, running (or cheering!) at runDisney events, taking hula lessons at Aulani, or vacationing at the Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. I am proud to be a part of the planDisney team and cannot wait to share my tips and advice for a magical vacation
