Dacie, Thank you for your help with my last question about the Royal Rooms! We looked into it and want to upgrade to a Royal Room, but already made our reservations. Are we too late? Can we upgrade our standard room at Riverside?

I'm so glad I could be of assistance, Molly.  And you totally made my day by following up with me; I love to hear "more of the story" after I've answered a guest's question!  As for your room reservation, the only way to know whether or not you can upgrade is to call and ask.  It will all depend upon how close you are to your upcoming trip, as well as whether or not there is availability for your travel dates.  As you probably know, there can be fees involved if you make changes to your trip within a certain time-frame and, not knowing when your trip is, I can't say whether or not your desired changes will be affected by that.  I will certainly keep my fingers crossed for you that it works out, though!  Definitely do call 407-WDW-STAY as soon as possible to inquire.  Good luck!

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
