What is the customary tip for room service? Can it be charged to our room? I've seen on the charts for tipping that it is up to our discretion but I would like to know a general figure! Thanks!

    Hi Valaney!
What a thoughtful question. I believe the tip is already included on the room service bill (double check the room service menu to be sure). I remember paying for the food, plus a service charge of like $2.50 for using room service, plus a 17-18% gratuity being included. I tend to add another few dollars depending on the size of the order, but this is totally optional. The room service waiters do tend to set things up nicely and do everything possible to make you happy, so I take that into account. Other people I know like to add enough to bring the gratuity to 20%, but again, totally optional. You cannot go wrong leaving it at the already added tip, or dropping in another buck or two. And yes, it is charged to your room.
    I hope this helps!! :)
