Is it customary to tip the Magical Express driver? Also, we are arriving at 10:30 am at airport and are taking the Magical Express. We have Be Our Guest (score!) reservations at 1:15. Will we make it? (Staying at Port Orleans Riverside.)

    Hello, Sandra!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  We are delighted to answer your questions about your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation!

I always make it a priority to tip the Disney's Magical Express driver.  As you know, these Cast Members work very hard to take care of all of us as we travel in style to our Walt Disney World Resorts!  My rule of thumb is to tip one dollar for every piece of luggage.

AND...I am so excited that you were able to book Disney Dining reservations at Be Our Guest Restaurant!  You are going to LOVE it!  Based on your question, it looks like you are going to have 2 hours and 45 minutes to get from Orlando International Airport to Be our Guest Restaurant.  Here are a few things I would do to make sure you are able to make your reservation:

    1.  Make sure you tag your luggage with the yellow Disney's Magical Express tags.  This will save you a lot of time since you will not have to pick up your bags when you land!  Your bags will MAGICALLY appear in your room!

    2.  Take advantage of online check-in for your Disney Resort.  This will also save you time, since your MagicBands and Welcome Folder will be ready to go!

Once you have your MagicBands, go outside and take the Disney Bus Transportation to Magic Kingdom.  If you follow these time-saving tips, I believe you will make your MAGICAL lunch at Be Our Guest Restaurant!

If you have other questions, please let us know!

    See you REAL soon!
