    Hello, Katina! Welcome to planDisney!

I'm so excited to hear you're planning a Walt Disney World trip with your grandsons! I've always loved visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth with my family - it's a perfect place to bond, make memories, and share some magical experiences! There's a special sense of connection you get when you're exploring the parks together, and I really can't wait for you to feel it for yourselves.

Katina, there are TONS of ways to do a Disney World vacation! From luxurious splurge stays to cost-conscious trips for the family, there's a Disney World trip to fit every budget. I'm honored to help you plan a special trip for your boys, so let's jump right in!

First, let's talk accommodations. Disney World offers three resort tiers: deluxe, moderate, and value. For the lowest prices, you'll want to focus on the value resorts. While these offer the most affordable prices, they're certainly not short on magic! Just like the moderate and deluxe resorts, value resorts offer incredible theming, complimentary theme park transportation, and even some great perks, like Early Theme Park Entry. I recently spent some time at Disney's Pop Century Resort, and I am OBSESSED with the fun, oversized decor, the fabulous food court, and the Disney Skyliner access!

Now, if the value resorts still feel like a stretch, try checking out the Good Neighbor Hotels. These won't offer all the same perks of a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, but they're still very close by and convenient. Some even offer complimentary breakfast and snacks, like the Drury Plaza Hotel Orlando Lake Buena Vista!

Budget-friendly resorts are always a great start, but there are other ways to save, too! One idea is to choose a lower-demand time of year, like August or early September. Although these months can be hot, they definitely deliver the deals! If you're able to plan your visit for this summer, you can take advantage of current Special Offers like the 4-Day, 4-Park Magic Ticket. If you choose to stay on-site at a Disney resort between May 26th and September 8th, you'll also get free waterpark admission on your check-in day

Now, let's talk about FOOD. First of all, Disney World makes it easy to save money on food, since you are allowed to pack food to bring into the parks. You can even order groceries to your room! But this year, the Free Dining Plan for Kids in 2026 promotion is truly such a great deal - especially considering the makeup of your party. When you purchase a Dining Plan for each adult in your party, all kids between the ages of 3 and 9 get a Dining Plan for free!

Katina, this is a beautiful thing you're doing for your grandsons - they're so fortunate to have a fairy grandmother like you! There is A LOT to know about planning a Disney World vacation, so if you have any other questions, feel free to write me directly. My kids are just about the same age as your grandsons, and I have lots of experience planning for that age range!

    Magic awaits,

    Allison
