Welcome to planDisney, Margaret!
I'm so glad you've found your way here a great question. Can you believe you'll be arriving at Walt Disney World Resort in just over a month? After all that dreaming (and planning!), your wait is almost over! With just a few weeks to go, now is a great time to finalize those last-minute items on your planning to-do list, including making sure you've made your
Disney Park Pass reservations for your upcoming vacation. Remember, you'll need valid theme park admission
and a Disney Park Pass reservation for each day that you plan to visit a Walt Disney World theme park during your visit.
Since you're asking about a Waitlisted reservation, I'm guessing that you're a Disney Vacation Club Member like me –– Welcome Home!
Waitlisting is one of my favorite booking features available to Members, so I'm excited to hear that you're taking advantage of it for your upcoming visit. While it isn't possible to check your exact Waitlist position (it would be so cool if you could, though!), you can check the status of your Waitlist request by visiting your
Member Dashboard on the Disney Vacation Club website.
To do this,
sign in to the website with your Disney Vacation Club account credentials, hover over the "My DVC" tab, and select "My Dashboard" from the drop-down menu. Under "My Vacation Plans", you should see all your upcoming reservations, including your Waitlist request, next to an orange clock symbol. If you don't see your Waitlist request listed, it's either been fulfilled (yay!) or it has expired (depending on the date and whether you chose the 31-day or 7-day expiration option when making your request). You can also check the status of your Waitlist request by calling Member Services at (800) 800-9800 or using the chat feature on the Disney Vacation Club website. Just be sure to have your Member number handy before reaching out to
Member Services –– they'll need to verify your info to access your account.
Thanks so much for visiting planDisney, Margaret. I hope this helps to answer your question, but if you need more information as your Walt Disney World Resort visit gets closer, please don't hesitate to stop by again –– we're always here to lend a helping hand!
See Ya Real Soon,
Amy
