Hi Sarah! Welcome to planDisney!
Is there any better feeling than having a Walt Disney World Resort vacation to look forward to in the coming months! I know for me, having an upcoming trip to plan for and get excited about is always a treat! Let's dive right into your question to get you squared away for your April getaway!
Since you already have a vacation package booked for your upcoming visit, you may have a few options available to you to make some changes. To modify this package, you'll need to
call the Walt Disney World Resort and speak to a Cast Member for assistance. If you can make this change, they will be able to take care of this over the phone, including any increase in the deposit. If not, they will instruct you on your options and the best path forward to get you exactly what you want.
If you want to handle this yourself using your
My Disney Experience account, you'll need to cancel your current package and rebook a room-only resort reservation. This may come with a risk if the room you want is no longer available on the site. Also, keep in mind that park tickets purchased separately from a vacation package are nonrefundable and nontransferable. You'll need to pay in full for them at the time of purchase.
Sarah, I have some exciting news to share! Walt Disney World just announced that
Happily Ever After and EPCOT Forever are making their returns at the beginning of April! Happily Ever After has been a special show for my family since its debut and I cannot be more thrilled that it will be back at the Magic Kingdom in time for your visit! Make sure to carve out some time on your Magic Kingdom day to catch this nighttime spectacular!
Have a magical trip!
Greg
