    I am currently in the US Air Force and I have a Disney trip planned for my daughter after I get back from my deployment in August. Besides the discounted military tickets, is there any other military discounts in the park ie..food, gift shops.

    First of all let me offer a heartfelt THANKYOU for everything you have done and sacrificed for each and every citizen of the United States.  I can't tell you how much our soldiers mean to me.  My brother in law is retired from the US Air Force and I know how hard your jobs are.

    Let me give you some money saving tips when traveling to Disney World.  Disney supports our U.S. Troops!  Call 407-939-7830 when making your Disney reservations.  Disney is currently offering 4 day Park Hopper tickets for members of the military and up to 6 family members through 9/28/11.  You can also contact different U.S. Military bases to see if one is participating in offering Disney passes.  If you find one, their prices may actually be a little lower than buying them through Disney.  While making your call to Disney ask about room reservations.  At present time, Disney is also offering up to a 40% discount on rooms at select Disney resorts when you book with travel dates prior to 9/28/11.  Please keep in mind that you will need your valid military I.D. when checking in so make sure you pack them.
