We're currently trying to plan our2015 trip, usually stay at POFQ but are looking at CBR due to price. As two adults going we're wondering about the differences between them and how much busier CBR might be? We always liked the calm of POFQ Thanks

    Hello Rosie,

It is always a great idea to get a head start on planning your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation. Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is a fun and festive resort with its bright colored buildings and tropical feel. This resort is more spread out than Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter, so it might appear to be more busy and lively. However, on a previous couples trip I had with my husband, we still had a great time and felt very relaxed there.

Despite being more spread out, it is great to know that there is an internal bus route so that you can get around to different parts of the resort without a lot more walking. The rooms are bright and cheerful with that Caribbean feel, but the actual room size and amenities are the same throughout the moderate level of Walt Disney World Resort hotels. I also liked the location of Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort and its proximity to Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios.

I hope this offers you some fresh prospective so that you can choose the best resort for your budget and travel needs. Have a magical trip and feel free to stop back by with more planning questions. We're all happy to help.
