Faith from FL Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

Hello! I am currently trying to plan a trip for myself and my grandmother this fall, and have seen videos of wine glass painting at one of the resorts but can’t find any info about it. Is this something still offered or was it a limited time thing?

Hello there, Faith, and welcome to planDisney.

I’m so excited to hear that the two of you will be visiting together. It’s going to be so much fun. What is on your list of must-dos? On the top of my list would be grabbing a sweet treat and taking a seat on any bench just to have the chance to soak in the sights and sounds of Walt Disney World. This is something my mom and I do, and we usually don’t really talk. We just sit there and absorb our surroundings together. It’s magical and relaxing. You and your grandmother should try it!

Since you are looking to add a sprinkle of magic to your visit, I recommend starting with looking through the list of Enchanting Extras. These are fun little options you can add on to your Disney Vacation. While I didn’t find painting a wine glass still available, I did find a painting class the two of you could enjoy! Check out Colors of Coronado Painting Experience located at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. It’s a fun master-led painting class that includes a take-home souvenir, your painting! There’s also a Spanish Mosaic Art class available at that same resort, if you feel like fully embracing your artistic side! After you’ve completed your creative keepsakes, I recommend heading over to Three Bridges Bar and Grill for the chance to refuel and unwind. The food is great, but the view is even better!

I also recommend checking with the front desk of the Disney Resort you are staying at to see what activities are available to enjoy at your resort. You can also usually find a pop-up stand with daily resort activities to enjoy during your stay in the main lobby. I recommend checking those out too, once you arrive. Maybe there will be something that will spark your interest! My little ones loved the marshmallow roasting event during our last stay at Art of Animation. And that activity was free, but we did have the opportunity to purchase add-ons to turn our marshmallow into a s'more.

Faith, I hope this helps guide your artist side to finding new adventures. If there’s anything else we can help with, please don’t hesitate to reach back out! Have a great trip with your grandmother and create new memories!

    See ya real soon.

Hi ya Pals! I'm Shantel, an Army wife and mom of two. I grew up going to the parks, and now we're sharing that tradition with our kids. When I am not visiting the Walt Disney World Resort, I'm at home researching and planning for our next trip. One of my favorite things to do is search for new snacks to try, especially if they are Mickey shaped. I'm definitely living the dream my heart wished for! I cannot wait to answer your questions and help make your vacation even more magical!
