Larry, unfortunately it's understandable why availability at the All-Star Resorts is scarce during your dates. The 2024 Summit Championship for All-Star cheerleading is taking place from May 2nd to 5th this year and is happening at
ESPN Wide World of Sports. The All Star Resorts are one group of hotels that are offered in the package that Disney makes available to parents, athletes and coaches.
My daughter's cheerleading team qualified to compete at The Summit this year so my family and I will be at Walt Disney World as well. Most teams are required to be in Orlando the day before on May 1st and many families are taking advantage of the Disney package, causing the All-Stars to fill up quickly. I know a lot of families are also taking advantage of already being at Walt Disney World Resort and are extending their stay beyond the 5th. A lot of my daughter's teammates have extended families that plan on being at Walt Disney World as well and most have booked at one of the All-Star resorts. Being a budget friendly option, the All-Stars tend to reach full capacity during the championships.
