Hey there, Nicole. Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question.
I've been a
Walt Disney World Annual Passholder for many years now and absolutely love it! Some of my favorite perks are complimentary parking at the Walt Disney World Theme Parks, the use of
Memory Maker for the entire year and discounts on food and merchandise aren't bad either! On top of that, being able to basically go to the Walt Disney World Theme Parks whenever I'd like is so much fun! I know that you will really enjoy the program, too. As of right now, however, the sale of new Walt Disney World Annual Passes has been temporarily suspended. The sale of new annual passes has not returned to us since the reopening of Walt Disney World last summer. I honestly do not think the program is going anywhere there, so no worries there! Currently, Guests with active Walt Disney World Annual Passes are being able to renew if it is close to their expiration date. I think they are just using this as a way to help control capacity during these unprecedented times. However, we are getting back to a world of magic and I don't think it'll be too long until you are able to purchase yourself a Walt Disney World Annual Pass.
Until then, Nicole, you have two ticket options to choose from if you'd like to visit the Walt Disney World Theme Parks. You can purchase a standard theme park ticket that allows entry into one Walt Disney World Theme Park per day or you can purchase a park hopper ticket.
Park hopping is where you are able to visit multiple Walt Disney World Theme Parks in one day. There really isn't a bad choice but I am partial to park hopping. It's my favorite way to spend a Disney day!
Nicole, I have my fingers crossed that you'll be able to join the Walt Disney World Annual Passholder family very soon. Keep an eye out over on the
Disney Parks Blog for any announcements that may come about the program. If you have any other questions, please feel free to come back and
ask me. I'm happy to help!
