Hi! We currently have a room-only reservation booked and I know full payment isn't due until 5 days prior. If we add *just* tickets (no DP), will that turn our reservation into a package, making full payment due 45-days prior to check-in? Thank you!

    Hi, Wendy!

Let's start with your Room Only reservation.  Your balance is not actually due until you arrive at your resort.  If you want to cancel your Room Only reservation, it needs to be cancelled five days prior to arrival to avoid any penalties.

As far as park tickets go, feel free to add these on at any time.  You can purchase your tickets directly through and link the tickets to your My Disney Experience account.  This will not alter your reservation or turn it into a package.

I suggest you add your tickets onto your My Disney Experience account at least 60 days prior to your arrival. By doing this, you will be able to book your FastPass+ experiences right at that 60 day booking window.

Don't forget that you will also need to personalize your MagicBands which will be mailed to you a few weeks before your trip.  By getting your tickets linked, your FastPass+ booked, and your MagicBands ordered, you are going to be all set for a vacation full of magic the minute you arrive in Walt Disney World!  Enjoy!
