I currently have reservations for MK, & Epcot on the same nights as ticketed events and extended hours that we aren't/can't participate in. Should I swap reservations around to avoid busier night crowds? I want to ride Tron at night.

Hello, thanks for stopping by Emilee. Here at planDisney we love someone who tries to zig when everyone else zags. I can certainly help be your guide in figuring out your situation.

Reservations to my favorite parks are so hard to choose some days. If EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival is essential to you then that Epcot reservation is one you would want to keep. While you aren't able to take advantage of the extended evening hours that Wednesday at Magic Kingdom Park, the other days are also open til the exact closing time at 11 p.m. When looking for a quiet night crowd I stay away from the parks with extended evening hours. I want to tell you I just returned from my ride inside of the grid. We raced against Team Orange and were victorious. Make sure you are ready to start using the My Disney Experience App in the morning at 7 a.m. on the day of your park visit. I have mostly experienced getting on TRON Lightcycle / Run Presented by Enterprise during the day. So if you are only interested in riding at night you can try to get a boarding pass during the 1 p.m. Virtual Queue. You cannot select the time to return and the Virtual Queue option usually closes up pretty fast so make sure you set an alarm on your phone so you don't miss your chance.

These two parks are always jockeying for the number one park in my heart. Recently Magic Kingdom Park separated itself yet again as number one when in the first week of April along with TRON came the long-awaited return of a fan-favorite fireworks extravaganza. Happily Ever After is back and you will want to start making your way to get a snack around 7:45 p.m. so you can find a good spot right after. Check the schedule to be sure but the show usually starts around 9:20 p.m.

I hope this information was helpful in planning your trip. It is right around the corner and I hope you have a magical time during your stay. If you have any other questions swing back by planDisney.com and we will be happy to help.

    See ya real soon,
