Hello we currently have reservations for 04/12-04/19 this will be our first to disney world i just wanted to know how the weather is during the time. I was also wondering if the Magic kingdom wil have a Easter Bunny on Easter Sunday

    Hi Erica,

Your first trip to Walt Disney World.  This will definitely be an Easter to remember!

The weather at this time of year is almost always warm with a normal high of 82F and a normal low of 60F.  There is always a possibility of a rain shower, so I would recommend packing rain ponchos to be on the safe side.  They are always available for purchase if you forget them.

Mr. & Mrs. Easter Bunny can usually be found in the Magic Kingdom at this time of year.  Be sure to check your park guide for times and location.  They may even make an appearance in the afternoon parade.

I don't know if you are staying at a Walt Disney World resort, but many of them have special Easter activities during this time for resort guests.

Easter is an extremely busy time at Walt Disney World, so be sure to arrive at the Magic Kingdom first thing in the morning.  Also, I would recommend making advance dining reservations as soon as possible for any table service restaurants you may want to enjoy.

    Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
