We currently have reservations for the BLT in September, but we are now rethinking that decisions and possible bringing our RV and staying at the campgrounds. Does Disney ever offer the Free Dining Plan for people staying on the campgrounds?

    Hi David,

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

The free dining plan special offer from Disney is a great package.  As with any offer, there are limitations on this one.  The campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground are excluded from the current offer, so you could not take advantage of the free dining plan offer in September if you stayed at a campsite in your RV.  I cannot speak for what special offers Disney may offer in the future; however, the campsites are excluded from the current offer.  You do not mention in your question if your stay at Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort was booked using Disney Vacation Club vacation points or a traditional payment method such as a credit card.  You should know that stays booked with Disney Vacation Club vacation points do not qualify for free dining.  Stays at Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort booked with traditional payment methods do qualify for free dining, unless you are staying in a three-bedroom villa, which is also excluded from free dining.

Here is the good news: you are considering two of my favorite places to stay at Walt Disney World!  I love the modern feel of Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort, and the walking distance to Magic Kingdom is wonderful.  Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground is so relaxing, and offers so many fun recreational activities.

I hope that this information helps, David!  Good luck in choosing between two wonderful resorts for your vacation.  Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
