Hi there, Evan! Welcome to planDisney!
It looks like you're planning a trip to the Happiest Place on Earth this summer. How exciting! When packing your suitcases, be sure to include those magical little autograph books because
Character Greetings have returned! Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto and all their pals will finally be able to sign your books, give high fives and even hugs to Guests! I've loved watching families return to the Disneyland Resort and see the joy on their faces when they realize they can finally embrace their favorite characters again!
So, Evan, the short answer is yes. If you make a quick call to a Cast Member at
Ticket Services, they can easily change the name on your ticket for you ahead of your visit. The longer answer is.. you don't have to. While it can be helpful for the name on the ticket to match the Guest you'd like to use it, it is not entirely necessary. Once you arrive at the entrance of the park, the Cast Member will scan your ticket and take a photo, which will be assigned to that ticket. The name on the ticket does not matter, but the photo associated with it must match for the duration of the ticket use period. The same Guest must use that ticket for the duration of your visit. If you're managing just one or two Guests, this is usually a fine solution. If you have a larger party and want the names to match, go ahead and make the call!
Now, if you'd like to add an additional Guest to your already existing park reservation, you will need to do that separately. You cannot modify an already confirmed park reservation, but you can easily create a park reservation for the other Guest as long as there is availability on the day you're visiting. You can check
Theme Park Reservation Availability before moving forward. Once you know that the date is available, you can
make a new park reservation here.
Evan, I hope this trip to the Disneyland Resort is your most magical one yet!
Until next time,
Ashley
