    I currently have a reservation for Port Orleans Riverside and will be bringing a small dog with me. There was no place to include that in my reservation and was wondering if there is anything I need to do for the reservation?

    Hello, Bob! Welcome to planDisney! I'm excited to hear that you are planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation and that you'll be bringing your furry family member! I'm happy to help you with your question! 

    I recently spent a week at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside and had a wonderful experience! I think you will be very happy with your stay. Port Orleans - Riverside is settled along the Sassagoula River and is one of Walt Disney World's four pet-friendly resorts. To ensure that you are placed in a dog-friendly room and that the proper pet fee is included with your charges, you'll want to call Walt Disney World Tickets and Hotel Reservations and speak to a Cast Member. 

    I have a few tips for you. Be sure to review the Walt Disney World Pet Policy and the attached map of relief areas at Port Orleans - Riverside. One great benefit of this resort is that you can take a boat to Disney Springs. You may want to stop by the Happy Hound Kiosk while you're there and pick up a souvenir for your dog. Marketplace Co-Op also has some fun Disney merch for pets. Finally, check out Best Friends Pet Care in case you need to leave your dog for an extended period of time. I have heard so many good things about them, and they even offer a virtual tour on their website!
