Hi Kirsten ~
I am a huge fan of the tours at Disney. My family and I recently did the
Family Magic Tour at the Magic Kingdom and loved it.
We started in Town Square at the Chamber of Commerce Building where we got our name tags and a bottle of water. Our Tour Guide read clues for the kids to assist them in finding the first item we were looking for on our scavenger hunt. The first was found in the Harmony Barber Shop. From there we continued down Main Street looking for additional items and solved a puzzle. At each stop, the Tour Guide will read a riddle to help find the next item.
We made our way to Adventureland, through Liberty Square and onto Fantasyland. In Fantasyland, there was a surprise guest (Wendy) waiting to greet the kids and pose for pictures. After a restroom break, we then made our way to Tomorrowland before heading down Main Street again to find our last clue. Our tour concluded with meeting Mickey in the Town Square Theater.
The kids loved solving the riddles and finding the clues (you don't get to keep any of the items you find). They were so excited when they figured things out. There were some really cute photo opportunities of the kids working together and galloping along with the Tour Guide.
Keep in mind that it is always possible that they change things up a bit but we did not do any rides during our tour. We had a great time on our adventure and I hope you do too. Please let me know if you have any other questions about the Family Magic Tour. I'm hEAR for you!
Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
