I’m happy to hear you are planning special experiences for both your kids for your trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth. Just like your son, I am certain that on my next Walt Disney World vacation, my son will want to build a custom droid at
Droid Depot.
My go-to resource when I’m looking for something unique and new to us is the
Enchanting Extras Collection. There’s always multiple things on this list that I have never experienced, so it’s an endless supply of great ideas that are sure to provide many jaw dropping and exhilarating moments. You will definitely want to check the
Experience Updates on these to make sure they are still being offered during Walt Disney World’s phased reopening. I’m trying to include only those that appeared to be currently available for you as suggestions:
I immediately thought to suggest horseback riding or pony rides at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground. My daughter was an equestrian and loved getting to ride horses, so I’ll always have a soft spot for the
horseback rides offered here.
How about booking her a special photo shoot? Then “say cheese” to a Capture Your Moment photo session. These will allow you to have a customized 20 minute photo shoot with a Disney photographer. You can book a Capture Your Moment session for the Magic Kingdom using
this link, at Disney’s Animal Kingdom by clicking
here, or at either location by calling Enchanting Extras at 407-939-7758.
Over at Disney Springs, you can go airborne or hit the waves, depending on her preference. Take her on a cruise aboard an
Amphicar, which is a fully restored car that can transform into a boat. Your captain will chauffeur your party on a 20 minute tour around Lake Buena Vista. Or “you can fly” high on a balloon flight with
Aerophile. The balloon climbs up to 400 feet in the air and offers stunning panoramic views for up to 10 miles away.
Make a splash and dive into a poolside experience by renting a
private pool cabana, currently offered at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Disney’s Beach Club Villas and Disney’s Yacht Club Resort.
Phew...hope that one of these will be the perfect treat for your 10-year-old because I’m all out of ideas! Seriously, I wish you the best of luck finding something special for your daughter just like your son will treasure his droid from Droid Depot for years to come. As always, come back to planDisney anytime as you plan your amazing Walt Disney World vacation.
See ya real soon!
