We currently rent in Florida, but all our utilities are included in our monthly rent. We recieve our rent billing statement online, can this be used as proof of Florida residency?

    Hi there, Alyse!

A warm and sunny welcome to planDisney, and thanks so much for stopping by with your question about Florida Resident benefits at the Walt Disney World Resort. Oh boy - it looks like you're planning to visit The Most Magical Place on Earth in the next couple of weeks! If you're considering purchasing theme park tickets or Annual Passes for Florida residents, it's important to understand the eligibility requirements. Alyse, I'd be happy to discuss what type of documentation qualifies as proof of residency!

Florida residents often enjoy fantastic deals on Walt Disney World Resort theme park tickets and Annual Passes. Additionally, when purchasing an Annual Pass, Florida residents can take advantage of monthly payment plans with the Florida Resident Monthly Payment Program! Alyse, Guests purchasing Florida Resident theme park tickets or Annual Passes must provide proof of a Florida residential address. Guests with either a valid Florida driver's license, valid Florida state-issued ID card, or valid Florida-based military ID have the option of verifying residency online at the time of purchase. Guests who do not possess any of these must confirm proof of residency in person at Guest Relations with a photo ID (e.g., passport, driver's license, state ID) and any of the following, dated within the past two months:
    • Monthly mortgage statement
    • Current homeowner's insurance policy or bill; current automobile registration, insurance policy, or bill; current utility bill (phone, power, cable, or water)
    • Mail from financial institutions (checking, savings, or investment account statement); mail from federal, state, county, or city government agencies
Current statements, electronic statements provided via mobile devices, and/or printouts of electronic statements are accepted. Alyse, due to your unique situation, you might consider reaching out to the friendly Cast Members at the New Tickets or Annual Passholders phone line for additional information on your eligibility. Alternatively, you could stop by any theme park ticket booth, a Guest Relations location, or the Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs in person to inquire about whether your specific documentation qualifies as proof of residency.

Alyse, I hope you've found this information helpful. I'm wishing you many magical visits to the Walt Disney World Resort during your time in Florida! If you have any additional questions, feel free to revisit us here at planDisney again anytime. We're here to help you make enchanting memories at The Most Magical Place on Earth!

    See ya real soon,

    Lauren
