Hi, Jennifer!
On my very first visit to Walt Disney World, we took our 5-month-old son and 3 year-old daughter, so I had never known a trip without a very little one in tow. By all means, I would do it again in a heartbeat.
In each of the four main theme parks, Disney has created a
Baby Care Center, which makes the little Guests and their families so very comfortable. There are changing tables (not in a bathroom!), feeding area with highchairs, a kitchen with a sink and microwave. There is even an area for the siblings to be able sit down, in the air conditioning, enjoying a snack in a kid-sized seat, watching a family-friendly show on TV.
Regarding character meals, don't miss Magic Kingdom's The Crystal Palace (Pooh and Pals, plus the food is fantastic!) or Chef Mickeys at Disney's Contemporary Resort (Mickey and Friends) on the days when you'll be in MK. For Animal Kingdom, you'll love Donald's Dining Safari at Tusker House (Donald and Friends.) Recently, we really enjoyed seeing Chef Remy at Chefs de France in Epcot's France Pavilion (he's there 4 times a day / 6 days a week). Of course, there are other wonderful
Character Dining options too, so check out the possibilities and come back with more questions!
For a first timer, planning is everything. Send me your dates and ideas on which resort to choose. I'll give you some suggestions based on that which will help make your trip a little smoother. I love to help!
