Hi there Melissa!
Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and congrats on your upcoming bundle of joy! I'm happy to let you know that you will definitely be able to start planning your magical family vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort before your baby is born. Since children under three years old will not need
theme park tickets, you won't have to worry at all about purchasing this for your infant. Also, when you book your
Walt Disney World Resort Hotel stay, you can add your infant with the first name "Baby" and his or her last name. When your little one is born, just give the resort a call to change their name on your reservation. This can be done any time before you check in for your room by calling (407) 560-2428.
I can't wait for you to create memories with your little one. Did you know that infants can ride with you on any attraction that does not have a height requirement? You will find that
Magic Kingdom Park offers the most attractions suited towards this age group. As an infant, my son loved riding "it's a small world," Dumbo the Flying Elephant, and The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. As a parent, you will also really appreciate the
Baby Care Centers located in each of the four theme parks. These provide convenient and quiet spaces to feed and change your little one. There are nursing areas as well as rocking chairs which I just loved. They also stock a supply of baby essentials for purchase in case you forgot anything.
I hope this was helpful, and please feel free to stop by if you have any other questions.
