Greetings Anthony! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Thanks for stopping by with your vacation planning question. I'd be happy to assist you today.
Isn't being a member of the Walt Disney World Passholder crew wonderful? It makes me feel like I'm part of Mickey Mouse's family! I have been fortunate to enjoy many visits to the Most Magical Place on Earth with an Annual Pass, and I've always appreciated the flexibility and perks that come with having my own little piece of the magic.
Anthony, when you first purchase an Annual Pass, it is not active until the time you first enter a theme park - also known as your Anniversary Date. Annual Pass renewals are offered to current Passholders and can be redeemed 60 days prior to or 30 days after the Anniversary Date. Whenever you choose to renew an Annual Pass, the effective date for your renewed pass will be the Anniversary Date or expiration date of your old Annual Pass. In your case, it sounds like this would be August 3, 2021.
Given the
recent theme park closures, Disney has been offering
Annual Pass extensions. Make sure you have all the information regarding your updated expiration date. New dates should be reflected in your My Disney Experience account, but you can also
give a Cast Member a call at 0800 169 0730 for more details on your pass.
I hope that helps as you plan your next summer holiday, Anthony. If there is anything we can do as your stay approaches, come back and see us again. We know there is a lot of new information being released these days, so be sure to follow the
Disney Parks Blog and the
Know Before You Go page for the latest updates. Thanks again for stopping by, and we'll see ya real soon!
