Currently planning a trip in Nov to stay at ASMovies. Considering switching to a moderate resort. Don't like the idea of the moderates being so big they require their own transportation. Previously stayed at PopCentury and thought it was too big. Thoughts?

    Hi Clint!!!

I can totally understand your concern with the Moderate Resorts being very spread out and quite large, in some cases.  The main differences you will find at the Moderate Resorts are that the rooms are slightly larger and the resort/rooms are more elaborately themed.  There can be multiple bus stops within the resort itself.  I prefer these multiple stops at one resort vs. a bus that is shared between all the All Star Resorts and has to make multiple stops at different resorts.  I actually prefer staying at Disney's Pop Century Resort in regards to Disney Transportation to the theme parks since it does not share a bus with any other resorts.

I would recommend you looking at the brand new Disney's Art of Animation Resort as a possible resort choice.  The Family Suites are larger than the rooms at the Moderate Resorts.  The Art of Animation Resort also is not as spread out the Moderate Resorts.  This resort also will not share a bus with any other resorts and will only have one bus stop on the grounds (similar to Disney's Pop Century Resort.)

I hope this has helped.  Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

    Have a magical trip!!
