Doc McStuffins is a compassionate little girl whose toys magically come to life once she puts on her stethoscope. It's no wonder she's a favorite of so many children. Previously, guests could see Doc McStuffins in Disney Jr. Play and Dance! in
Disney's Hollywood Studios or meet her in Animation Courtyard. Unfortunately, the Disney Jr. show and Animation Courtyard both closed last year to make room for what's next:
The Magic of Disney Animation. Therefore, there is currently no active meet-and-greet for Doc. The new Animation Courtyard will be home to the new show:
Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live!
Last fall, Doc McStuffins made an appearance at the Disney Jr. Jam at
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. This is a special ticketed event held in
Magic Kingdom Park on select nights throughout the fall. Of course, there's no guarantee that Doc will return this year, but you are always sure to have the opportunity to see rare characters, as well as many well-known friends in their Halloween costumes. There's trick-or-treating, party-exclusive snacks, typically lower wait times for attractions, and - my personal favorite -
Mickey's Boo-to-You Halloween Parade! As your trip draws closer, I recommend you keep an eye out for the dates.
The
new Bluey experience will be at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park and is expected to open this summer. You'll be able to take the
Wildlife Express Train to Rafiki's Planet Watch and
Conservation Station, which will be the home for the upcoming Bluey adventure.
Now that my kids are all nearly grown, Mark, I can say with confidence that I have no regrets taking them to
Walt Disney World Resort when they were little. There's nothing like experiencing the magic with your child, and I know that your family is going to make some incredible memories! I hope you'll come back and see us at
