Hi, currently planning our trip for end Oct. We are staying at a Disney hotel. Is it worth visiting the parks on the days we can make use of the extra magic hours or are parks best avoided on those days as they are busier with all the EMH visitors? Thanks

    Howdy, Carolyn!

Welcome again to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! This is one of those questions where it's quite common to get different answers. Some Walt Disney World Resort Guests absolutely adore Extra Magic Hours (EMH) and some would rather avoid them. I am definitely #teamEMH and here's why.

To me Extra Magic Hours are exactly what the name reveals, extra hours to enjoy the magic of Disney parks. I've never found them to be too crowded and usually plan our days to ensure that we are able to take advantage of them. If you were not staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, it may make sense to avoid the park with them scheduled, but as a Disney Resort Hotel Guest, I definitely recommend enjoying every extra magical moment.

Please let us know if we are able to help you with anything else, Carolyn, and have a delightfully Disney day!

    Magical Wishes,
