Hi there, Sasha! It's so nice to see you again here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Let's help you find some tasty meals the whole family will enjoy at the Walt Disney World Resort!
Sasha, we have a bit of a fussy eater in my family, too. I must confess, though, in our family the picky person is actually me! I've waffled from mostly meatless to strictly vegetarian and back again, and I'm not a big fan of more exotic tastes. I'm a Floridian who hates seafood, I won't eat any kind of nut, and on and on. How sad is it that my nine-year-old son is a more adventurous eater than his mom?
In my travels around Walt Disney World, one thing I've found is that the
table service restaurants are usually very accommodating for Guests with special dining requests, whether it's
dietary restrictions or just personal preferences. If you're not finding anything on the menu your daughter will like, you can always ask your server for suggestions, or even speak to the chef.
Quick-service dining can be a little less flexible, but I've always been able to find something on most menus that I can eat, even if it's just some combination of side items.
Sasha, one of your best bets for a picky eater may be a
buffet. Most of them have several dishes tailored for children. Believe me, I've scooped plenty of macaroni and cheese on my plate from the kids' section!
I hope this helps you plan lots of magical meals with your family, Sasha. Please feel free to stop by again if you have any more questions for this fussy eater!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
