Hello :) Currently planning for May 2025 Disney trip and was wondering if there are any running trails from the resorts to the Disney parks?

    Hiya, Chelsey!

I'm so glad you stopped by planDisney to discuss one of my very favorite topics: magical miles!

Whether it's through runDisney race weekends, pre-park day miles on jogging trails, or simply walking through theme parks, I've never NOT enjoyed the steps I accumulate in The Most Magical Place on Earth. Of course, I always enjoy running on vacation because it's such a treat to change up the landscape I see each day, but there's something extra special about running at Walt Disney World Resort. The attention to detail evident in the theme parks is also undeniable in the landscaping and theming of all all areas on Walt Disney World property.

With this in mind, I'm happy to report that jogging trails connect several Disney Resort hotels to Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Disney Springs! Both Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa are connected to Magic Kingdom Park by a 1-mile paved path, while Disney's BoardWalk Inn, Disney's Yacht and Beach Club Resorts, and the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels lie along paved paths that connect EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios. This walkway will always hold a special place in my heart because it's also part of the final miles in the Walt Disney World Marathon course, which was my very first marathon.

You'll also find jogging trails that wind independently of theme parks through several Disney Resort hotels including Disney's All-Star Resorts, Disney's Pop Century Resort, Disney's Art of Animation Century Resort, Disney's Old Key West Resort, Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, Disney's Port Orleans Resorts, Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, Disney's Riviera Resort, Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, and Disney's Coronado Springs Resort.

As you can see, Chelsey, there's no need to put your training on hiatus during your magical vacation, and if your vacation miles inspire to you begin a runDisney journey, I'm happy to provide some suggestions and insight. Feel free to stop back by with any questions you may have!

    Miles and Smiles,
    Lizzie
