Hi, currently planning our first trip for our 7 year old and I cant wait! Thinking about dining plans, can I use a Disney Dining plan for 2 quick service meals instead of 1 quick service and 1 table service meal?

    Hi Lynsey!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I am excited to see you are planning the first trip to Walt Disney World for your 7-year-old!  If you need any help with any of your planning, please come back and ask any questions you have - we are always happy to help.  The Disney Dining Plan is something I use every time I visit Walt Disney World, and I love the value and convenience it offers, and also that you can use it across the whole Resort - the theme parks, water parks, Disney Resort hotels and select restaurants at Disney Springs! If you wish to convert a Table-Service entitlement to a Quick-Service credit this can be done at the restaurant's discretion in exchange for one meal.  When you arrive at your table, speak with your server, and if they will permit this exchange they can arrange this for you.  In the same way, if the restaurant or facility will allow a conversion from one Quick-Service credit to three Snack credits, they will do this for you at the time of purchase.

The Disney Dining Plans are very flexible and it is entirely up to each individual Guest how they use their entitlements, and providing there are enough credits left on your account, you can use them in any way you please - maybe using more credits on one day, and less on another. The Dining Plans are available to use from time of check-in at your Resort hotel (if you check-in online, your Dining Plan can be used from 7.00am on your arrival day), until midnight on your day of departure, and to check if any restaurants will accept the Disney Dining Plans, and how many credits you will need, scroll through the restaurant list here.  Click on any that you are interested in, and then click on 'Some Dining Plans Accepted', and you will see what is required.

It's worth noting that reservations are not required for Quick-Service restaurants, but they are recommended for Table-Service dining and can be made up to 180 days in advance, either online, or by using the My Disney Experience mobile app.

Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions. We will be happy to help you plan your magical holiday to Walt Disney World.
