    Currently planning our first DCL trip! I've been reading so many questions on this panel and came across the gifts and amenities. If I purchased the birthday decorations, does disney put them up? My daughter likes to be the first to open doors.

    Thanks for sailing by with another excellent question! How wonderful that you've been reading other helpful questions asked by Guests, here on the Disney Parks Moms Panel website, while planning your inaugural voyage with Captain Mickey! Will your pirate princess be celebrating a birthday on the high seas? Fun! In my opinion, there is no better place to celebrate than a Disney Cruise.

    One of my favorite ways to celebrate onboard is by pre-ordering stateroom decorations and treats! Yes, the decorations will "magically" be set up inside your stateroom upon your arrival! By visiting the Gifts & Amenities page, you can choose from a selection of decorations to make your daughter's birthday cruise unforgettable. There's even a delicious "Celebration Cake" you can order, too! Most orders must be submitted no later than three days prior to your embarkation day, with some needing to be submitted earlier.

    If you haven't done so already, be sure to notify Disney Cruise Line that you'll be celebrating your daughter's birthday during your voyage by calling the agents at (800) 951-3532. They will make a note on your reservation. Your Server and Assistant Server will likely have a special celebration for your daughter one evening in one of the Main Dining restaurants, too!
