We are currently planning a Disney Cruise in December 2014 out of Miami, followed by a stay in WDW. Is the Magical Express service available from Miami to WDW or do we need to rent a car? Thank you for your help!

Welcome aboard, Jodine! A Land and Sea vacation with Disney is such a fun way to experience all of the magic! You're going to have a fabulous time!

I'm sorry to say that Disney's ground transportation does not provide service from Miami to the Walt Disney World Resort area, only between the Miami airport and the port of Miami, and of course between Port Canaveral and the Walt Disney World Resort.

If you're flying into Miami, do add Disney's ground transportation from the airport to the cruise port onto your reservation. For the little bit of extra cost, it is well worth the security of knowing that Disney will provide excellent service and handle all of the details. Once you disembark your cruise, renting a car to drive to Orlando would probably make the most sense, Jodine. There are numerous car rental agencies near the Port of Miami, many of whom will meet you at the port, so be sure to look into that.

The Magical Express will certainly provide you service from the Walt Disney World resort to the Orlando airport if you'll be leaving from there. That is a complimentary service for guests staying at one of the resorts on the property.

Please stop back with any other questions as you continue to plan for your magical cruise vacation with Disney, Jodine! I'm happy to help!
