I am currently a pixie dust annual pass holder, and I am seeing people saying that park hopping is allowed with this pass now. When we bought them it wasn’t allowed. Is this true? And if so, what do we need to do in order to be able to park hop?

Hi Sherry and welcome to planDisney!

I just love being a Walt Disney World Passholder because it gives my family the flexibility to visit the theme parks as often as possible and we sure do take advantage of that!  Whether it's a day trip, long weekend or an extended vacation we are always ready to jump in the car and head over for some fun with Mickey Mouse and friends.

The Disney Pixie Dust Pass, available to Florida residents only, indeed does allow park hopping and has for years, so you are more than welcome to pop over to another park on a same day visit.  Currently, park hopping is only allowed after 2:00 PM.  You can check the park hopping availability options right on the My Disney Experience Mobile App on the home page under park hours.  As of recently, Walt Disney World Passholders no longer need to make a theme park reservation if you are planning on visiting a park after 2:00 PM (except for Magic Kingdom Park on Saturdays and Sundays), so if you have an afternoon park day planned, no reservation is needed.  You do not need to do anything to park hop, just show up and tap your ticket, MagicBand or your smartphone to enter the park.

Please stop back by and visit if you have any additional vacation planning questions and have fun hopping!
