Greetings and welcome to
planDisney, Cassandra, we thank you for your question!
How positively exciting it is that you will be visiting the
Disneyland Resort to create the most magical and unique memories, I am so happy for you, Cassandra!
The
Disneyland Resort theme park ticket with the hopper option is a great way to explore both theme parks in one day and so worth it in my opinion. Since you already have an existing Disneyland Resort theme park ticket and a
Theme Park Reservation all you have to do is stop by a ticket window, modify your theme park ticket to include the park hopping option (pending availability) and then make sure you visit the first, reserved theme park of the day. At 1:00 PM or later, you could then visit the second theme park without a Theme Park Reservation and then go between the two theme parks until the parks close (pending availability). My experience modifying theme park tickets was that any added extras had to be for all valid days of the theme park admission (subject to change). I would even suggest
contacting Disneyland Resort - Tickets to see if you can modify your existing theme park ticket in advance of your arrival, it never hurts to ask - good luck!
Tips:Download the
Disneyland Mobile App to manage your plans before and during your visit. Upgrade the
Payment Method to enable app transactions for such vacation essentials as
Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering,
Merchandise Mobile Checkout and even adding the Disney Genie+ service as soon as you enter a theme park. The
Disney Genie+ service will save you time waiting in lines for attractions that offer the Lightning Lane entrance, plus, you'll enjoy unlimited digital downloads of
Disney PhotoPass attraction photos including Magic Shots from your day.
Cassandra, take a look at the current
Disneyland Resort special offers under the
Places to Stay tab on the main page towards a stay at a
Disneyland Resort hotel, wouldn't that be a real treat?!
Have you seen the new and dynamic
planDisney Podcasts? They are conducted in some really neat venues - have a look!
Did you know that the
Disney Wonder is currently sailing Alaskan itineraries from the port of Vancouver? It is my wish to enjoy one of those exciting itineraries one day soon and visit beautiful Vancouver!
Cassandra, it was my great honour assisting a fellow Canadian Disney fan and I hope that this information serves you well. Feel free to stop by
