Hi Andrea! Welcome to planDisney.
The
Happily Ever After fireworks spectacular gets me every time - I can't watch without wiping away a few (ahem,
many) magical tears! The battles, the stories, the losses, and all the glories...it's such a moving celebration of the very best Disney stories, characters, lessons, and music. I love it so much, and I always enjoy assisting fellow Guests who ensure it's in their Walt Disney World Resort plans.
According to the
Park Hours, Magic Kingdom Park is closing at 7:00 p.m. on September 11, 2021. We don't have the information as to why it's closing at that time, but that's the reason there is no Happily Ever After scheduled for that night. If Happily Ever After is a must-do for you, I would recommend adjusting your plans so you can visit Magic Kingdom Park on a different evening. There's always a chance the Park Hours will be extended and a show added, but there is no guarantee. If it happens, it will just be a happy sprinkling of pixie dust.
For the evening of September 11, I recommend a visit to EPCOT. You can grab some tasty treats and delicious drinks from the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival and find a spot around the World Showcase to watch the
EPCOT Forever fireworks show. One of the reasons I love EPCOT fireworks is that there is no shortage of delicious snack options available in the various pavilions, and that is extra-true when there's a festival going on. Be sure to read the
Disney Parks Blog as you count down to your visit for updates on experiences and ways to enhance your visit! I also recommend keeping an eye on those Park Hours.
Thanks for stopping by planDisney, Andrea! We're here to help if you have any further questions.
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
