Hey Howdy Hey Rose, welcome to planDisney! Thank you for stopping by with your excellent question. I'm thrilled to assist you! Linking tickets must mean you're gearing up for a trip to
Walt Disney World! You are sure to make awesome memories at The Most Magical Place on Earth!
To manage your son's plans, I would suggest that your mom adds you to her
Friends & Family list. I would then suggest connecting your account to hers on your own device. That way you will still be able to access all your plans and your son's plans from your own account but still be able to share plans, and tickets.
I find the easiest way to connect to the accounts of friends and family members is by using your Linking Code. To find your Linking Code, tap on the 3 horizontal lines on the bottom right of the My Disney Experience app. Scroll to the bottom of the screen then under Disney Account, tap “Profile.” Next, tap “Show My Linking Code.” The app will then prompt you with a warning explaining what the linking code is. Once someone scans your Linking Code, you’ll be added to their Friends & Family list. Next tap “Show My Linking Code.” The app will then create a unique linking code. There’s a QR version as well as a manual code that your friends and family can type in.
If your mom wants to scan a linking code to connect to you (or you want to scan hers) - tap on the three horizontal lines to the bottom right of the My Disney Experience app. Select “Profile” and then “Friends & Family List.” You’ll then scroll down to where it says “Add a Guest.” Follow the prompts to Scan her Linking Code. You’ll scan her linking code when she has it up on her phone, or you can manually enter the code. That's it!
Rose, I hope you find this information helpful as you prepare for an exciting visit to Walt Disney World Resort! Thank you again for visiting
planDisney. Have a magical day!
