I currently have a magic key and is up for renewal and want to get my 3 years old one as well. She turned 3 in Oct 2023 is it too late. I read somewhere it’s witching 60 days. What are my options ?

    Hi Monica,

Welcome to planDisney! Thank you for submitting your question to us!

Oh boy! I’m so excited that you plan on purchasing a Magic Key for your child to visit the Disneyland Resort! They’ll feel like the Genie with “infinite cosmic power” once they acquire their Magic Key. It’s the best way to maximize future visits!

Magic Keys were available for purchase on January 10, 2024. Guests could purchase a new Magic Key through the online queue, and those with existing Magic Keys who wished to renew or upgrade could do so in person at the ticket booths at the Disneyland Resort. It truly was a whirlwind that resulted in Magic Keys being sold out. As of today, the sale of new Magic Keys is paused.

But Hakuna Matata (it means no worries!). All you need is faith, trust, a little pixie dust, and the help of a friendly Cast Member on the Magic Key Holders line who can assist with renewing your Magic Key and could provide further information on securing a Magic Key for your little one! Cast Members are available for assistance from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM PST (hours may vary). According to the Magic Key Terms and Conditions, Magic Keys can be renewed up to 30 days before the existing Magic Key’s expiration date either online or on the Magic Key line.

I hope this was helpful! If you have other questions about the Disneyland Resort, remember - you’ve got a friend in me!
