    Hi Mayra,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

You definitely don’t need to have purchased a Disney Dining Plan in order to make dining reservations at a Walt Disney World Resort restaurant! In fact, my family and I rarely ever use it because we find that it isn’t a good fit for the way that we like to plan our visits (we aren’t big dessert eaters and we prefer table service meals). You’ll be able to make reservations for your entire stay up to 180 days in advance. This means that, if your vacation starts at either Disney’s BoardWalk Inn or at another Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you’ll be able to make dining reservations for your entire stay the moment you’re 180 days away from your arrival date.

If you have any other questions about your upcoming vacation, please don’t hesitate to come back and see us. I find that “split stays” are the best way to explore all that Walt Disney World Resort has to offer!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
