Craig from East Sussex Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

We are currently looking at booking a trip for 2 adults and 2 children (10 and 7) for 2026. We are both teachers and are looking for a 14 night stay. When is the best time to visit for price and crowds? Will Disney be offering any incentives for 2026?

Why hello there Craig, it's great to welcome you to planDisney!

As someone who's spent some time myself as a teacher inspired by my family members who were also educators, I can definitely understand how important it is to plan ahead for the time that you can get for a holiday with the kids - and staying at a Disney Resort Hotel for a full 14 nights is definitely something that many American families can only dream of! While at the time of writing it's still quite early to have an idea of what kinds of offerings will be available for folks booking in 2026, it's always a good idea to keep a close eye on the special offers and deals on the website that are often updated throughout the year - sometimes without prior notice.

    • When it comes to purchasing tickets, there's actually a big difference between packages and availability for our friends across the pond so I very highly recommend asking our panelists from the United Kingdom - Emma and Matt C in 2025 for any additional insight that they may have as soon as 2026 dates are bookable!
    • The beauty of aiming for these lower-priced periods is that from the end of August into September, we see many North American children and teenagers back in school as well as some respite from the incredibly warm summer weather in June and July. (It is however just as important to be aware of hurricane warnings and your options in the event you need to reschedule your dates.) Many folks and families still prefer this to the possibility of encountering crowds during the popular Spring Break season as well as the holidays at the end of the year; I personally recommend taking a look at the historical dates for each of the festivals at EPCOT, annual runDisney events and even special ticketed events which often come with a spike in attendance in each instance.

One thing's for certain, and it's that this upcoming year will see so much construction on anticipated projects throughout the theme parks, and I certainly hope that there will be more exciting announcements about what you can expect to be completed by the time of your visit in 2026. In the meantime, keep planning ahead as much as possible and come back to us here at planDisney for additional insight and advice as you start preparing for that magical holiday together!

Here's hoping you'll be able to snag a special deal and avoid the crowds when your family comes to visit the Most Magical Place on Earth!
