I currently live in SoCal and planning to visit the park on the 06/19, I just applied for my CA ID and not sure if I will get it on time to show it as proof that to live in SoCal. I am gonna be using my Magic Key with the SoCal monthly payment.

Hi Thomas! Thanks for visiting planDisney.

I bet you're going to love your year of increased access to the magic of the parks, discounts, and fun perks. I love my Magic Key, especially the dining discounts. But I don't have the option of monthly payments: You're so lucky!

If you purchased an Imagine Key, which is only for Guests who live in an eligible ZIP Code, you need a government-issued photo ID to enter the parks with that pass. However, if you purchased a Magic Key other than the Imagine Key, you won't be required to present identification for use, regardless of whether you selected the monthly payment option.

If you don't yet have your permanent ID, you may be denied entrance using an Imagine Key for entry. A temporary ID might be accepted, but there's no guarantee. You may have to wait to make your first theme park reservation to visit the parks after you've received your ID. Availability of reservations isn't guaranteed. Alternatively, you can purchase a standard 1-Day ticket with a theme park reservation for entry.

I hope that you get your ID sooner rather than later! I'm sure you don't want to wait. There are a lot of exciting things going on in the parks like the long-awaited return of Fantasmic! in Frontierland in Disneyland Park and all the fun surrounding Pixar Fest with its Entertainment, Characters, and themed menu items.

    Have a magical day!
