Hi Elena!
Thank you for sending us your question and welcome to planDisney. I love visiting the parks with my friends and family, and I am so excited that you will be joining us with your loved ones real soon. However, planning for a bigger party can definitely get confusing, so I am here to make sure all you have to worry about is having the best vacation ever. After all, it's a wild and daring ride with your family by your side!
I see that you're already organized, Elena! You're getting all your ducks in a row for your magical vacation, and that's what we love to see. To answer your question, you can have another member of your party make plans for everyone. However, there are a few important things to consider! First, they will have to create their own
My Disney Experience account as they cannot make reservations if they are managed by you. Once they make their account, they will be able to make all types of reservations, access their Photo Pass pictures and keep track of your party's plans with you. Second, they will have to be linked to the rest of your party in their
Family & Friends List. To do so, they would go into their account and click on "My Family & Friends" and then on "Add a Guest." They will be prompted to enter the email address linked to your My Disney Experience account, which will allow them to send you an invitation and eventually connect with you. If you are together, another way to do this is by downloading the My Disney Experience mobile app and clicking on "My Profile" and then on "Family & Friends." After they have clicked on "Add a Guest," they will click on "Scan their linking code" and scan the code that is in your app under "My Profile."
Now, if the people in your party are managed exclusively by you, they might not show up in the second person's Family & Friends. To fix this issue, you would have to
contact a Cast Member either via chat, email or phone so that they can link everyone together! Lastly, if you want to make
Disney Genie+ selections for your whole party, make sure that everyone has purchased Disney Genie+ and have their tickets linked to their profiles. That way, you or the second person will be able to select Lightning Lane return times for your whole party.
Now, Elena, it is also worth noting that this second person is free to
make dining reservations without being connected to the rest of the party. Indeed, they can indicate how many guests will be attending and link those in their Family & Friends List, but others or all of them can be left blank. As long as your whole party is present when you arrive at your dining reservation, you will all be able to eat together no matter how many of you are linked to the reservation, as long as the party size is correct.
I hope this was helpful, Elena, and that you're able to get back to planning your magical vacation real soon. If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to reach out. We'll always be there to help!
Have a magical day,
Ariane
