Hello! I currently have an Imagine Magic Key that expires in January 2023. I have family coming on days that are blocked out for me. I was wondering if I can upgrade my pass to the next tier that includes those days. I already paid my pass in full.

    Hi Darnell, welcome to planDisney!

Have you heard the good news? Magic Key pass renewals are open again! This seems to be the hot topic lately, as many Guests have been waiting for this information!

But back to your question, Magic Key pass upgrades to higher tiers can only be done through the renewal process. And Magic Key passes can be renewed up to 30 days before expiration. If your Magic Key expires in January 2023, this means your renewal window will open in December 2022. I know this isn't the information you wanted to hear, and I'm sorry I couldn't deliver some pixie dust! But when your renewal window does open, head on over to the Disneyland Resort website to renew your Magic Key pass!

I also recommend you monitor Disneyland.com, follow @DisneylandMagicKey on Facebook and Instagram, and visit the Magic Key portal in the Disneyland Mobile App for the latest and greatest news on Magic Key passes.
