Hey there, hi there, ho there, Logan! You’re as welcome as can be to
planDisney!
You’re correct that the Dream Key will no longer be available for renewal. However, I’m happy to report that the Inspire Key is another similar option that will bring great value with new discounts and special experiences, too! As a current
Magic Key holder, you’ll have the option to renew and upgrade your Magic Key up to 30 days before your expiration date. So, I recommend double checking your expiration date to determine when you’re eligible for renewal. To do this, simply pull up your Magic Key on your
Disneyland app and check in the “Tickets and Passes” section. Underneath the bar code of your Magic Key, you’ll find your expiration date. Then, whenever you’re within your renewal window, you can navigate to
Disneyland.com/renew to begin the renewal process. You’ll be prompted to sign into your Disney account, and then you’ll be directed to the renewal page, which will say, “Renew Your Magic Key Pass” at the top of the page. There, you’ll see your Magic Key, and you'll have the chance to upgrade or downgrade to a different pass type, subject to pass availability, which may change from time to time. So, as long as the Inspire Key is available whenever you’re in your renewal window, then you should be able to complete the upgrade at that time.
In the meantime, have you heard the exciting news, Logan? All Magic Key holders can now receive 20% off the purchase of
Disney Genie+ service (subject to limited availability) on days when you use your pass for park admission. Also, don’t forget to follow
@DisneylandMagicKey on Instagram for the latest tips and updates.
Wishing you another year filled with magic and wonder!
