Currently on DP staying 7days/6nights with 6Ts ADR at Spirit of Aloha,Play'n Dine Breakfast, Storybook Dining, Rainforest Cafe,BOG,Ohanas,TRex . Which one should be cheapest to pay out of pocket? And is my plan too big as I plan on 1ts per park no hopping

    Hi Cindy,

You're a girl after my own heart with the dining you've included in your Walt Disney World vacation. I would suggest paying out of pocket at either Rainforest Cafe or T-Rex, as our family has done in the past. Rainforest Cafe offers a HUGE menu of options, many of which are reasonably priced salads and sandwiches. Checking out the independent site allears.net will provide you all menus across property, along with current prices.

You'd likely receive different answers from many of us when you ask how much is "too much" dining. I personally love the idea of booking an Advanced Dining Reservation each evening, as it offers your family a chance to regroup and chat about the day's events, not to mention take advantage of the wonderful culinary delights you'll find at the Walt Disney World dining locations. It's impossible to do and see everything at Disney, so why not enjoy sitting down together as a family to plot the next day's adventure? I think it's a great plan! Just be prepared to allow up to 1.5 hours per character meal, and a bit longer for dinner shows. Also be aware that unless you are participating in the Premium or Platinum Disney Dining Plans, Spirit of Aloha dinner show will require two table service credits.

Have a MAGICAL vacation, Cindy, and thank you for your question!
