We currently have a Disney package (tickets and hotel) for a trip in 2019. If we need to cancel the whole thing for some reason, do we get all our money back (as long as it is within 30 days)?

    Hi Dana,

It's great to hear you have a Walt Disney World trip planned for 2019! There are lots of new shows and experiences coming to Walt Disney World like “Move It! Shake It! MousekeDance It! Street Party” at Magic Kingdom Park, a block party for The Incredibles at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and the “Hakuna Matata Time Dance Party” at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. With all this new magic ahead to enjoy, I would certainly hope you find no need to cancel your plans. If you booked a Magic Your Way package and cancel the package more than 30 days prior to arrival, there are no cancellation penalties, unless airfare is included. If you cancel inside the 30-day window — from 2 to 29 days from your arrival — there will be a $200 cancellation fee plus the airline cancellation fees, if applicable.

Dana, here's wishing you get to enjoy all the magic of your Walt Disney World vacation just as planned.

    Enjoy your Disney!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
