We currently have a dining plan and may deicide to cancel it. If we make reservations using our dining plan and then decide not to get it. Do we need to change the original reservations in any way?

    Hi Liana.

You will not need to make any changes to your Disney Advance Dining Reservations, whether or not you decide to keep your Disney Dining Plan.

Upon arrival at each of your reservations, the Cast Member at the podium and/or your Server, will ask you if you are using a Disney Dining Plan. You'll advise them at that time if you are, and present your Key To The World Card for verification of your plan type.

If you have any further questions about the plan, to assist you in deciding if it is right for you and your family, please feel free to write me back. I have used both the 'regular' and Deluxe Disney Dining Plans now on multiple vacations with children at every age from toddler to teen. I'll be happy to assist you further in any way that I can!

Personally, I can't imagine visiting without a DDP as I find it provides us with such great savings and flexibility. We love dining all around Walt Disney World's parks and resorts as well as experiencing Dinner Shows, Character Dining and Signature Dining, all while using the plan.

Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel with your question Liana.
I really hope to hear from you again in the near future!

Wishing you a simply Magical time at Walt Disney World!
