Howdy, Angela! Thanks for stopping by planDisney!
It looks like the magic begins for your family in just a few days! How exciting! We have so much great news coming at us from the Walt Disney World Resort lately, including the return of my favorite mode of transportation, the
Minnie Van Service™! While there are so many fun ways to navigate The Most Magical Place on Earth, this one is every parent's dream! A rideshare service fully equipped with car seats for your little ones, this makes going from Point A to Point B a breeze with our young Mouseketeers!
I'm glad that you're finalizing some last-minute questions so you can let loose and enjoy your vacation when you arrive. You can certainly utilize an
advance dining reservation to just order dessert at many dining locations, though there are some exceptions. The best rule of thumb- if there is a pre-fixe menu, you will be required to pay full price and ordering just dessert is generally not an option. For most other dining locations, you are welcome to order whatever you'd like, including just a sweet treat to end your day! If you're unsure, you can always stop by the restaurant earlier in the day to confirm.
Angela,
Character Dining has not yet returned to
The Crystal Palace. Though we're not sure of an exact date, be sure to keep your eye on Disney Parks Blog, where you will likely find all the latest and greatest announcements first. When Winnie the Pooh and friends are back, they'll likely be the ones to tell us! Though characters are not yet available at The Crystal Palace, you'll find them at many other dining locations throughout the parks and resorts. If that is the dining experience you're looking for, you may consider
Chef Mickey's,
Tusker House Restaurant or
Hollywood & Vine!
I'm sure there is plenty of pixie dust in store for your stay!
Have a magical day,
Ashley
