Currently deployed, will be taking R&R and visiting WDW with 4 yr old and 8 mo old at beginning of September. Staying at the AKL and will be driving own vehicle. Will we be able to park at all the parks? Also what is the approx driving time around WDW?

    Hi Lauren,

First I want to say "Thank You" for your service to our country. I hope you will thoroughly enjoy your much deserved vacation. You've chosen a beautiful resort, the Animal Kingdom Lodge is incredible and your 4 year old in particular will really love the animals.

When you check-in, you will receive a parking pass to place on your dashboard. This will allow you to park for free at all of the Parks. The driving time really varies depending on where you begin and which place you are headed to. Stop by Guest Relations at your resort and ask them for a property map. They will be able to give you drive times between parks and different locations. Many of them can be reached within 15-20 minutes.

    Have a wonderful vacation,
