Hi Brooke,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Of course you should take a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort with your family! I would say yes to that question any time.
The week after Christmas will be a busy time of year and it is certainly a beautiful time in the parks with the festive holiday decorations. Although you know your daughter best, there are a number of rides and attractions suitable for little ones. Take a few minutes to review the
Planning for Pre-School Kids and Little Ones Guide. It provides some great tips for navigating the parks with your toddler. Some of our favorite rides at Magic Kingdom have been Dumbo the Flying Elephant, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, The Magic Carpets of Aladdin, "it's a small world," and Astro Orbiter. At Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park, the animals are spectacular. We love Kilimanjaro Safaris.
The parades and shows are also must-do's. At Disney's Animal Kingdom,
The Festival of the Lion King show has incredible singing and dancing. At Magic Kingdom, the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade has stunning floats and all of our favorite characters. My girls still also love the
Move It! Shake It! Dance & Play It Street Party. And, of course, I suggest that you visit with characters, including
Disney Princesses at Walt Disney World Resort.
Brooke, another word of caution about this time of year is the weather. It may not be warm enough to enjoy the pool. So plan accordingly!
Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
Donyell
