Hi, Heather!
You are welcome to purchase any "extras" that are not included with your
Disney Dining Plan credits. This might include wine, extra food, adult beverages, or the super fun light up souvenir character cups that are offered at many restaurants. Sometimes it is a light up Tinker Bell, or other fun character (usually around $7, price subject to change).
When ordering anything at a
Disney restaurant, make sure to inquire with your server if the item is covered with your credits, and if not, ask the price so you do not have any surprises when your bill arrives at the end of your meal. The bill that you will be presented with will have any extras that you ordered, gratuity, and will also list your remaining Disney Dining Plan credits. It is quite an efficient system.
Do not forget each member of your travel party who is on the Disney Dining Plan will also get a refillable resort beverage mug. I just do not want you to be buying cups at every restaurant and need an entire suit case just for cups when packing to go home! The refillable resort mugs do not light up fun like the ones you can purchase in restaurants, but they all take up space just the same.
Wishing your family a magical vacation in
Walt Disney World!
Cathy
